A 31-point blowout brought an unceremonious end to Bucky McMillan's first season in Aggieland, in which his Aggies wildly overachieved to reach the second round of the NCAA Tournament. However, the proof of concept is there, and the future for Bucky Ball is bright.

Well, that was not good.

That was an ugly way to end what was otherwise a successful season. Expectations were exceeded on the court. Culture was forged through veteran leadership. The Texas A&M fanbase got a taste of Bucky Ball, but ultimately, the 2025-26 season unfortunately comes to a close in Oklahoma City in the Round of 32.

With that said, here are my thoughts from Saturday’s loss:

1. You have to play your A+ game to beat Houston. That did not happen.
