I'm really enjoying the split screen view of the tee shots on 11 and 13... really gives a better feel for the shape of the holes... especially as they pan around to show what is left on the second shot

This wind is crazy. Oosty just hit his tee shot on 12 that landed >20' up the hill behind the green. Luckily for him, it didn't plug or get hung up and ended in the back bunker.

He stood over that shot forever and was totally confused by the wind.

Hadwin doesn't know what to do, having watched that. Hits a shot about 75% that lands front right. His heart rate was probably 120bpm.

The wind is from behind but is swirling once it hits the trees behind the 12th green and 13th tee. This is going to be fun to watch all day.

Thomas Pieters is unconscious. -5 after a birdie on #10.

The camera shots from behind the 12th green looking towards the tee are hilarious. There are darn near whitecaps in the hazard in front of the green. That wind is awesome.

A friend of mine used to produce all of the video content for Masters.com. He would spend 10+ days out there getting shots of everything interviewing people. Crazy stories and the guy isn't even a big golf fan.

Yes.

The answer is that Rule 27-2c prescribes that if the original ball is neither lost nor out of bounds, the player must abandon the provisional ball and continue playing his original ball. Indeed, having found his ball, if he makes any further strokes at the provisional ball, he is playing a wrong ball and the provisions of Rule 15-3 apply. Once he deemed his ball unplayable and decided that Rule 28 options b) and c) would not give him sufficient relief, he had to take the only other option, 28-a), and return to where he had last played from, under penalty of stroke and distance, playing his third stroke off the tee.
