One more thought...if Charles Satterfield III was not the same person as Randolph Duke, don't you think he (Charles Satterfield) would have, at some point, come forward and spoke out and cleared his name. Surely he's been contacted about the connection between his name and the online persona.

I know I would have.
Family members have confirmed that Charles is "insane" and obsessed with A&M.

So you're saying the Shatterfield was a patsy for a ponzi?
He was hired to fill a desk at a company selling a Ponzi scheme.

The funniest part of the story was that the Stanford guys had two options.

1.) Keep him happy and on the payroll so as not to rock the boat.

or

2.) Fire him and possibly have their whole scheme exposed and face life in prison.

And they chose option #2. He was such a worthless sack that they would rather face prison time than continue dealing with his bull****.

In that industry.

He could have held a job not subject to FINRA filings for longer. Mail room or copy guy come to mind.

Randy, I know you're going to read this.

We've all been at low points in our life - me included. Please take a breather and reevaluate.

At the end of the day - if anything else - were all citizens of this great State.

...thus the irony of him claiming that Stanford was the best job that the other employees had ever had. It's almost as if he was projecting his own shortcomings on those around him. I'm sure he's never done that anywhere else.

By the way, any guesses on what job he did back in the 90s when he lived in Amarillo?

I didn't see an Amarillo address listed in the other Randy thread. Multiple places in California, Chicago, very brief time in NYC and lots of places in Houston.

When did Amarillo happen??

ETA: As of 8:15 pm, Our esteemed colleague hasn't posted on the shag for many hours. I fully expected him to rail about this thread, and deny once again he is Charles Satterfield. Probably just a coincidence.

Keep grinding bro! We know the whole 12th Man thing is a scam, and you're on to us. BUT WE'LL GET AWAY WITH IT IF YOU QUIT!

BTW - we ran a train on the old lady last weekend. She's a nasty little ho - but I like my ho's that way.

His LinkedIn claims he is the principal for Signature Derivatives Group, if you Google that name it doesn't return a single hit other than his LinkedIn account. At least Barnes had some Photoshop skills to support his delusions of grandeur.

Sorry for the confusion, but that wasn't a rhetorical question.

Putting together a rough timeline based on what we know:

Graduates HS in 1980
Graduates UT in 1984
Get married
Works for brokers in NYC in late 1980s
Gets divorce in 1995
Moves to Amarillo in 1996
Moves to Houston in 2000
Sues Monsanto 2001
Goes into energy trading in 2004
Goes into Ponzi Scheme in 2005
Gets **** canned from Ponzi Scheme in 2007
Changes apartments in Houston
Works for a broker for a couple months in 2009

Looking at the entire timeline, in between getting a divorce and going off the deep end (suing Monsanto), there was a 4 year hiatus in Amarillo. I don't know the source of his lunacy, but I'm willing bet that whatever happened in Amarillo plays a key

I saw that. There are several Charles Satterfields, but he is the one born in March 1962. You're looking at this one right?

Actually that website has another Charles M Satterfield born in Sept 1959 (wrong birthday), with these NYC, Chicago and San Diego addresses:

(Oct 1995 - Jul 2001)

(Mar 1999 - May 2001)

(Dec 1993 - Dec 1996)

(May 1996 - Jul 1996)
353 E 72nd St #9B, New York, NY 10021
(May 1996 - Jul 1996)

(May 1987)

But the two Houston addresses match up with the one born in 1962. I assume it's a mismatch on their part unless he was living in both Magnolia Ave in Chicago and Greenbriar Street in Houston at the same time.

Actually now I'm really confused.

Texas Exes website has him enrolling in Fall 1980:
quote:
SATTERFIELD, CHARLES M. first semester Fall 1980 last semester Fall 1984
BACHELOR OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION major PETROLEUM LAND MANAGEMENT Dec 22, 1984
He's also high school class of 1980

That all lines up with a 1962 birthdate making him 18 when he graduates HS and 22 when he graduates college.

However, his marriage certificate (from Austin) is dated January 1980 and his wife was born in 1957. Both of those would line up with the 1959 birthdate.

So unless he married a 23 year old when he a senior in high school, those don't match up.

They didn't necessarily cave. Just wait to see how it all plays out. This is more positioning themselves that anything. You can count on the fact there will be an incredible number of smaller businesses that will use the"12th Man" phrase over the coming years. "12th Man"and "Home of the 12th Man" are two different trademarks with two different histories. Not using one trademark doesn't mean the other is not going to be used.

And yes, I have been in contact with general counsel for the Seahawks organization, but my post reflects my words, not his and not any position connected with the Seahawks. My opinions are based entirely on information from conversations I have had with individuals not directly connected with the Seahawks organization. What I can tell you is the Seahawks organization is well aware the university's trademark was fraudulently obtained.
Feel sorry for the General Counsel of the Seahawks.
Since when does receiving a restraining order mean you have been "in contact" with someone?

Total BS that he has managed "front, middle, and back office trading operations". I've worked at several trading organizations and those areas are not compatible in the activities they conduct. So unless he was a damn CEO and therefore de facto "managed" those areas, that's total bullsh*t.
