I guess I don't see how that email says anything different than what's been reported many times in the past. It's just a big bag of "so what". I get that y'all expect Tech fans to go ape over this but I'm not sure why. We vented when the deal went sour and then moved on to focus on 2011-2012 recruiting and the upcoming season. I guess I just don't have strong enough feelings to rehash what's already been killed and buried by UT and Beebe. The emails are posted on our premium site but the few responses are pretty tepid.
Obviously, this thread did not go the way y'all planned. (First time I ever got to say that. lol.)
FYI. There is only one thing that has not been made public and it won't be revealed by requesting emails. I know what transpired (in detail) and I'm shocked it's not been made public so far. My buddy told me because he had to vent his anger the evening after it went down but he made me swear not to mention it to anyone to avoid embrarrassing the Aggie administration at such a delicate juncture. (When things get tense everybody assumes Aggies will act like children. I'm not sure why.) Maybe somebody here knows what I'm referring too. It happened one day after the presidents, chancellors and ADs of Tech, A&M and UT announced that they had met and agreed to act in solidarity with regard ot any conference moves. After hearing the story, I was pretty furious but I never mentioned it to anyone after the PAC-10 move died because it didn't seem that important any more. Anyone here get scoop from the highest levels of your admin to know what I am referring too?
