Tards keep getting punched in the d-ck by the Big 12. When will they realize their place?

this thread alone might pull us through the final weeks of the off-season. reading those emails makes me as uncomfortable as watching an episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm.

The following are some key thoughts concerning conference expansion.
•Academic status is important to the expansion ofthe Big 10 and the PAC 10. All of the Big 10 and most of the
PAC 10 schools are members of the AAU(American Assoc. of Universities) Seven Big 12 schools are Tier 1 and
members of the AAU.
•Academic profile of the University is important.
•Competitive programs in all sports.
•Texas Tech needs to continue to be good partners with UT and A&M.

After reading those, realignment is not going to be simple. Basically, the legislator was noting that UT and A&M have state revenues north of $2 billion and $1 billion, respectively, so it might not be smart to make a decision to leave based upon an extra $20 million.

Keep the gifs coming. This is great!

The majority of the registered voters in this state are fans of Texas, A&M or Tceh in one way or another. It would be unwise, and bordering on political suicide, for anyone to openly try and withhold funding from them

Tech better cinch up their grip on the coattails, or they might just be headed MWC/CUSA/etc.

The lack of serious tard responses on this thread (with the exception of rockylarues, who did the best he could with 8-2 offsuit) tells you all you need to know

Personally, MY ideal scenario is that A&M, tu, Notre Dame and one other school (Probably Mizzu) head to the Big 10 to form a super conference and dick punch Michigan and Ohio State

If these emails were picked up and made into a movie I imagine it would be 90 minutes of the shower rape scene from American History X and a sitcom crowd laughing.

NO, THEY DIDN'T. aTm DID NOT have a stand alone invitation. It was contingent on OU. My cousin works in the aTm A.D. and I can't see him lying to me about something like that. OU is perfectly happy about the new situation and aTm has no leverage left over. Even IF and i specify "IF" aTm had a stand alone invite to the SEC, I can promise you that the state govt. would get involved. If you recall, Pac10 Commish Larry Scott admitted that Texas politics was a big part of the problem.
