This might the most epic beatdown in rivalries history, and Texags had nothing to do with it

the funny thing is, it's just emails of tards punching themselves in the face...it's a-****ing-mazing that the top of the chain of command seems to grasp what the knuckle-draggers on this board deny on a daily basis.

These docs tell me what I suspected. What I found the most interesting was the letters from the legislators.

After reading those, realignment is not going to be simple. Basically, the legislator was noting that UT and A&M have state revenues north of $2 billion and $1 billion, respectively, so it might not be smart to make a decision to leave based upon an extra $20 million.

Which was a pretty crappy thing to insinuate.

I said it when all this was going on...but A&M should scream to high heaven that a legislator threatened Education funding because of athletics. That does not go over well with voters...and would shut them up.

The majority of the registered voters in this state are fans of Texas, A&M or Tceh in one way or another. It would be unwise, and bordering on political suicide, for anyone to openly try and withhold funding from them

Exactly. That quote was made by a Dunnam (baylor grad).

If A&M and/or UT leave the Big XII, theres zero chance their funding is pulled.

It not a matter of if, but when, the Big X(II) is done for good.

Tech better cinch up their grip on the coattails, or they might just be headed MWC/CUSA/etc.

I for one would be absolutely thrilled to never have to play Tech again in sports. They are the worst fans in the country.

Tceh's worst nightmare is that A&M bolts for the SEC, this conference falls apart before next season (and before the Big 10 expands further), and Texas heads to the Big 10 like I believe they truly want to. They would then be left trying to convince an academic minded conference in the Pac-10 to let them in without tu.

Personally, MY ideal scenario is that A&M, tu, Notre Dame and one other school (Probably Mizzu) head to the Big 10 to form a super conference and dick punch Michigan and Ohio State. I wont happen, but holy **** that would be fun in football and basketball.
