Sentiment is crazy. Fundamentals matter little when in the weeds. Let's see where it shakes out on the other side of this.

It has 11% gross margins and is orienting more towards a service company than a tech company.

I want to buy puts.

Buy them if you want. I'm holding my small number of shares.

I took profits AH, but just honoring my rules. Still a believer long term. S&P basically giving it all back into the close was not a good omen.

on a lighter note, this about made me spit my drink onto my monitor..

Sold NVDA for a small loss, placing more orders below for SMCI all the way down to $515.

Sticking with 725 and 800 as targets.

Tomorrow through Thursday this market will confirm if last two trading days were relief bounce. SMCI post earnings reaction has me worried it was the latter.

Call me crazy but this feels like a golden opportunity for SMCI. I don't see how it doesn't bounce back to at least today's close by the end of the week.

I'm up to 39 shares @ 629, got 3 more set to buy at 515.

Lowered targets to 700 and 725.

I went ahead and took good profit on POWL, WEC, PLTR and a few others. I needed to simplify anyway. I'm not watching close like you guys

I'm gonna stick with my core, NVDA, SMCI, MSFT, XBI, ARKG, XLE, XLU and IBIT

I'm still up on all of that except IBIT and SMCI. May buy more of both now that I have cash

Read my post from last night. If current action were to continue to track 2007, tomorrow would be the bounce top and Thursday would be confirmed reversal.

LOL, I got out of my daily scalp with 5% profit. If I'd been real smart, I would've set a sell for 700.

Interesting number I just stumbled on about yesterday, retail sold $1 billion equal to -2.5 std dev below the average, while institutions bought $14billion equal to +2.9 std dev above the average.

Obviously I'd expect that to look a little different on the retail side had the brokerages been working, but still a big number nevertheless

Yesss.. we trapped those big boys in fresh new buys. Now we short them!

I don't believe it was institutional rigging, but multiple platforms didn't have the adequate computing infrastructure to handle that amount of traffic. I'm not excusing them in the least because they all failed their clients. That said, only the SEC can force them to upgrade their systems or face the possibility of incurring significant fines. I recommend that everyone that was affected file a formal complaint with the SEC. None of those broker dealers want the SEC up in their business, but they all deserve it. I believe it was 'STS..' this morning that said they should be held accountable. Well, filing a complaint with the SEC is the first step that could make them accountable in the future.

I sold after the close today not when the brokerages were down. Saw I had made 12% to 22% on those and wanted more of my core Iike SMCI. May get more NVDA too.

I'll keep an eye on POWL and PLTR and if they come down I may buy some back

How could retail investors panic sell if the trading platforms were down for them lol?

I keep going back to POWL thinking if they can maintain a few more quarters of EPS at this level they should run. Nothing in their backlog, conference call comments or filings shows much weakness. In construction as backlog builds you can typically be more selective with better pricing power so margins, barring operational or estimation issues should maintain or expand slightly

Retail probably got hit with significant stop losses and margin sales while not being able to login.

I have schwab and was down all day but bought all I wanted before the market opened. I was just blind knowing what all went thru for limit orders because I could not remember the exact price I put in

Have a friend of mine that works closely in the same sector as SMCI and texted me this evening that he thinks SMCI's fundamentals are still way out of line from it's peers and he doesn't think the company offers any real competitive advantage near term or outlooking. Not sure what he really knows but his "fundamental" analysis based on PE and market cap would suggest that the stock price needs to correct ~70% or to $170/share in order to be inline with it's closest peers (Dell and HP). Looking for some ammo here to fire back with. I know Prog had put his DD on here but I cant seem to find it. I'm not in the sector to make any arguments other than the fundamentals don't tell the whole story (growth projections).

TSM - High probability targets at EMA bunch $163, volume shelf $172, and top of cloud $185 that coincides with gap close. Weekly lower target printed on Monday. Hourly upper target printed in the afternoon session and left a $140-$150 range lower target. So watching the first half of tomorrow for option and/or shares entry potential.

Weird as hell. My one day Limit order of NVDA at 92 a share kicked in two days later. I had this setup two minutes before the opening bell when we were all locked out. (Was under the impression that I was SOL as it pumped beyond 92 for the remainder of the day.

I won't look a gift horse in the mouth. Thanks Vanguard!

NVDA $125 area is again resistance. Not being able to get through the $120's will leave an opportunity for one more low with a target range of $60-$75 through mid November.
