Our fund sold the $120 and $115 PUTS 2 weeks ago for $9. I spent all weekend wondering if I had missed something. I still like the PUTS here for $9 by the way.
If SPY loses 506, it may run down to close the gap from 4/25 down 504.27. But it just as likely will bounce from 506.
If this yellow channel breaks on IWM, I think we go down to the green line.

The drop invalidated the more immediate bullish case. There can still be a bull case, but RTY needs to break above 2035 with initial signal above 2017. IWM levels are 200.5 and initial signal 199.
But notice the mid line of the channel. Playing out too perfectly to default to bullish at this time. I'd be on high alert for a FED drop tomorrow unless we can break those resistance levels.

Why is POWL falling today
Have you seen the macro markets? Fed meeting tomorrow with JPOW expected to be hawkish due to inflation readings? It also only has 12M shr float, so if you fart hard enough near them, then it will move their stock price.South Platte said:

RSI was overbought, but POWL could be getting a needed reset around 50 before earnings. Stochastic is still on the rise as well.

PLTR 2.13B shr float (yes, they IPO'd with 2.1B shrs which I think was galactically stupid)

The lower available shares to trade magnifies their stock moves, volatility. POWL and SMCI will have to split their stocks several times to even get near PLTR, but you see how their stock prices are extreme when news is released compared to PLTR and the others listed above. The larger the float, the more shares it takes to move the stock price. I hope POWL and SMCI declare a split today, but if they don't, yes they'll drop, but they will have to split their stocks very soon. With them having such small floats, if they do declare a split then I expect them to launch. JMO, everyone make your own choices.

They (POWL) already pay a dividend and actually raised it a penny last ER. With their small float, and SMCI, beating ER estimates, guiding higher, and declaring a stock split should launch them into orbit. I wish I had a crystal ball.
