This may be hard to explain but really I play on 'feel' for the market. I come in with an opinion of what are some scenarios I think could play out. I'll watch the action until I get a sense of two things: 1) most importantly, what I think won't happen and 2) what I think will happen. If I don't know, I don't trade. I try to be at a point where I'll be wrong quickly or right quickly. For 0DTE, I really just try to get 20% or be -20%. I tend to set stops tight once in profit and I'm very quick to bail when wrong.

In terms of strategies, I have a couple of different tacts I'll take:

• Early day scalping: I'll wait for a trend to set up, I'll set a buy on a mean reversion (5 min), then I'll unload on the bounce or drop. This is very high probability for me and I will size a bit bigger for these. 30-50 points OTM. I will leave runners or will profit roll to higher strike
• Mid day: don't really trade
• Late day scalping: I will wait for a curved bottom or a solid pull back that holds to show up, then I'll buy 10-15 points OTM and I will seek to get 20-30%, sometimes a VWAP tap if above or below

0 DTE trades have to be micro managed unless lottos. You're either right immediately or you're out.

For 0 DTE, I will also play some other ways depending:

• Late day butterflies when I think there could be a pin
• Put credit spreads when I think an uptrend is obvious and I don't like the premiums / theta. I will often sell ITM spreads that are 5-10 points above to get $3 in premium with $2 in risk

What I no longer do intraday are debit spreads
