If it's me I'm selling, logging off, and getting some nice steaks for dinner.
If this was me, I would sell the weeklies at market open, and then use a portion of the profits to buy calls a month out. Bank profits and let a portion of your winnings potentially make you more. You won't feel FOMO doing this either. This thing could really run, it's been coiling on the daily since the split.

I've just never experienced anything like this 30k. My thought is that it may keep getting pumped into Friday? Doesn't hurt to ask. I will take yalls advice. Thinking I'll sell it and maybe use the profits to buy a 550 a month out.

Been a long term position for me and this is great. Thinking of buying some close outs on a potential sell the fact trade here.
I had always been told that while extraordinary dividends are nice, they are actually a bearish signal. They can mean things like this for the company's prospects:Engine10 said:

1) They believe their stock is fairly valued (otherwise they could institute a stock buyback program)
2) They have run out of capital projects that potentially return greater than their current aggregate returns
3) They see future prospects in fundamentals slipping from current levels
4) Management is under pressure from certain shareholders
5) They think that expansion (new stores in new geographies, product line extensions, etc.) has run its' course
I suspect it might be number 3, in this case. Despite their current great performance, COVID has created a positive blip in financials that is not likely to sustain itself. This is understandable for Costco and the other COVID beneficiary type companies (Zoom, Peleton, etc.). Probably a smart move by management?

Earnings victim again. WMT beats by 13%, promptly drops in premarket. Oh well guess that's why you have to play small on options.
Looking to enter SDC $11 calls post earnings once option premium subsides. Should be well below $1 with typical post earnings pull back.

I try not to play earnings with a heavy naked position.

DQ stock split today, meaningless from a fundamental standpoint but this stock has grown a ton recently and this should attract some volume
Markets -25 futures would love a full day of selling off towards $355 minimum. Would be able to pick off some good trades.
MARA moving early also. Have a bunch more excess buys to sell above $3. Probably would sell a $4 covered call that gets $0.75 premium.

I sold ten dollar calls on my shares for this week expecting this pullback no matter what. Buying back today. Love the dependability of SDC. Now if they could just keep doing what they're doing...

Anybody still keeping tabs on vale? I bought a bunch the other day with the plan to sell some calls but I'm afraid of getting called out of this one!
$AI comin! Been hoping for this one for a while. Think Palantir but with a more industrial customer base. Will be interested to check their filing for fundamentals. Hell of a ticker tho!

Back from ban land! Glad I bought some Tesla last week at $400. Not happy about my whopping 1 call option in WDC. Got freaked out yesterday when I bought at $43.05 and it dropped to $42.85, so I ended up selling my other 3. Oh well.

What are our thoughts on ASO? Academy seems like a great growth opportunity as it's only in like 17 states. It's still very early in the stock's life and it's consolidating from the initial runup.
