Its pretty much at the money with some time yet so you'll probably be ok. OA feels like this is poised to have some breakout.chrisfield said:
I got in too late to be net free, and this was my only red on the day. Hoping it at least gets back to even for me soon.

Anyone still adding to Jan SPXS Calls while they are low or are we back to everything is great and to hell with hedging? LOL
I've got enough to fully hedge if we have a crash between now and Jan. I'm not buying anymore right now. As others have said this small loss in order to keep keep comfortable investing in other upside is more than worth it but I'm not using it as a trade.
You should be able to buy the SPXS symbol. Now is as good a time as any to buy them as they are cheap. About $4.38. I own shares of it in my tax deferred account and options in my cap gains account.trip98 said:Bob Knights Liver said:Barty said:

For those of us not trading options isn't there an ETF or stock we can buy that has same effect? Pretty sure I recall seeing something like that on here within last few weeks but searching spxs pulls up waaaaay too many results to sort thru.
Typically a long buyer but like this idea. My account is cap gains but if these gain market is down and would have losses to offset. Or if market is up have this to offset gains
OA has been all over COOP since it was $5/shr.chubbs07 said:
Anyone playing COOP?? @KKernTTB has it on his watchlist for a breakout, and I know it was talked about a lot back when it was under $10. Been on a strong run since then. Dec 18 $30C sitting at .25/.35
Your message prompted me to go look at Home Away/VRBO which is under the symbol AWAY. I should have done that a long time ago since we have properties on it and have been booked solid through COVID. Probably missed this one.Engine10 said:

$TSLA added to S&P. $408 to $444 and blowin. Congrats longs!
Pre earnings. The AH rise started before that was released. Tomorrow this one will be a zoo.cptthunder said:I wonder if the NIO AH run up is a tag along or just pre-earningsEngine10 said:

EBAY - That green hourly candle at the end is impressive. 4.7M shares
Yep. I expect a large move this week into the Holidays. I will shed a few in the 40s and 50s, but this one has a 300-500%er feel to it. I'm going to keep adding if it hangs in the mid 30s or lower tomorrow.
It's prime to bust back into the low-mid 50s
