I considered that today, but pansied out on my original plan of selling a chunk at 1.5 (got greedy, actually). If it does it again, would any of you sell after a jump, then rebuy if it drops again the way it did today?

About same for me, further reducing exposure here. I had a LOT of shares, happy to bank the profits and keep a few NET FREE for any run up later.

What does the volume look like on that? Should be higher on the back end of that rounded bottom as the price is coming up and then low volume on that retracement. Otherwise I'd be a bit cautious of using it as a bull signal.

I got a weird question.

Could someone who has 2 trading accounts (say a 401k account and a personal account) trade stocks to themselves?

I mean, couldn't ya put a limit sale for shares of a stock you own at a price higher than market price.

Then put a limit order for that same price and number of shares and essentially "transfer" the shares between accounts?

Might not work on a fast moving stock, but on a low volume stock?

And if you could do this - are there rules against it? Again - just curious!
