Anyone else follow the STM 8/21 35C volume last week? They report in the morning, was climbing steady till the past several days until the china news this morning.
It would really be no different than selling the stock on one account and buying it on another.

Any tax benefit would get offset by the wash rule.
Well technically you could pocket the profit from the sell of the stock in your personal account (and have access to the cash) but in essence transfer the shares to a 401k account (which you can't withdraw from).
And even if you bought the shares from yourself at an inflated price - you can let it ride longer in the retirement account where you have more money sitting anyway.
So in theory it could be like refinancing your home and taking out some of the equity!

Man ontx at .33, and JD under 30 were great calls. And you could have been selling JD calls the whole time if you followed all the OA advice. Net was 16 too.
Just buy what OA says and wait 6 months. You'll be happy.

Does anyone on the board have an opinion on ATNM ?
It's currently .58 after hours, but a couple of ETrade guys with decent records have it at a $2.50 target pretty recently.

I'm not in on any of these at the moment, but the major O&G's (XOM, CVX, VLO) were up big today. Any news on this to indicate a further upward trend for O&G?

It's trading at 14 PE which to me is crazy low, because I expect Q2 to look awesome. If it doesn't then they are smoothing and playing with their IBNR reserve - meaning they'll have a few good quarters.
I was shocked competitors like Cigna and United haven't responded more to a quarter breaking all the records and expectations, so it looks like the market feels it appropriately priced in.

I haven't been following. What is the story with QD? Is 2 and some change a good entry point?

fwiw, Wednesdays are typically green going back several months (Tuesdays and Thursdays are not and Mondays were typically the big dump days back in March).
Lots of earnings tomorrow, big money will want to rake in some dough before any drop.
Assuming we have football I would love to meet some of you guys this fall. Stock market meet up at the chicken doesn't sound terrible.
