Absolutely. In fact whoever brings up the market buys a round! I'd rather talk about anything but. This is best, most inclusive thread I've found on texags. Sure, we all want to make money but it's turned in to 10s of 100s of posters looking out for one another. Hard to find that on the internet.

I'm only half way serious. I will say, it's incredible the camaraderie here. Only been hanging around for the past few months but sure wish I would have paid closer attention to this thread sooner. If I had even an iota of the knowledge some of you guys have I would absolutely contribute but I'm still in pure absorption mode. I genuinely enjoy helping others be successful and prosper (especially fellow Ags) and I sure feel like that's how almost everyone who contributes here is. Not sure there is a clean answer to your question but it seems like most feel comfortable with the 8, 21, 200 EMA. 15, 60 min, or daily charts. Depends what you're looking to buy (common stock vs. options with time constraints).
If you are on E*Trade I do know that POWER E*TRADE has an education function on the 15, 60 min, and daily that will show you what's going on with a stock. Helps a ton.

Yeah im interested in learning just not sure where to begin. Im into buying common stock. Im sure I'll get into options once I feel more comfortable learning how the stock market really works and how to forecast trends.
If you're just getting started wait for OldArmy1 to post and when he tells you something, just treat it the same way as if Jesus was yelling at you to do the same thing. If you do that you'll be rich in no time.

Bought remaining SPY shares against those $325 Puts.
Since Outs expire today it either locks in profits or if we rebound makes a lot more than the options cost.

ZOM $0.20 one of few green. PFE trying to stay green against the grain. Obviously will have to see how it stalls some potential breakout short term like QD, but doesn't change anything as long as consolidation versus full on market reversal.

I feel like this should be a big blow to markets, which means they will probably take off.
