I can't wait for decent/reliable testing numbers to stabilize.

Even if things are worse than they thought, some decent data goes a long way into getting rid of the hysteria.

This. The number of cases isn't going to go down for a while. We testing more and more, so there will be more positives. Plenty of people had it that never knew about it previously. As long as the hospitals aren't overwhelmed, lets move on. Yes, herd immunity and eventually a vaccine perhaps.

SPX needs to get around 2900 by close (someone with a more accurate ability to read charts can help) to stay above the trend line we've established for the last month.

Down day so far, but I'm expecting a push to do everything they can to get there.

I'd still consider myself in amateur but I think your number is close.

I like hourly EMA 9/21 crosses as a signal and we just crossed bearish at open.

Exactly...and I think this has been here since last winter (Nov or Dec). We have no idea how many people in Sweden actually have it or have gotten over it already. In all likelihood 10x more than the confirmed case number.

Not to clutter or derail here, but to add to what Irish said, the unemployment rate in Sweden actually went down in March. They've always had higher rates than the U.S., but the fact that it decreased vs our increase of 25% (4.4% March vs 3.5% Feb) is pretty significant. I don't know anything about their economy, but I wouldn't be remotely surprised if theirs hasn't felt the same impact as we have here and I also doubt their government has thrown an equivalent influx of cash to try and save it.

When the entire picture is taken into consideration, and not just deaths, one could easily argue they are far better off.

I also think antibody testing will be the best news over next few months. Only question is whether that news will surface in a media landscape obsessed with blame games. Also, look for peddled class warfare narratives between union/workforce and shareholders as asset prices correct (wall st vs main st).

So, if the poster Poopy Pullup posted this morning that he looked at his portfolio and **** his pants when he saw how far down he was, somebody else would say, username checks out. Your username is 2percent so when you said you were down 4%, it meant that didn't check out with your username.

If you're up nicely on your daily Puts then think about a cheap $283 Put in case the bottom drops out of the market. Using a few % of gains to potentially score even more.

At any rate, you should be out of any of your expiring Puts for today and repositioned if you did buy shares. I am in no hurry on my shares bought below $285 so I closed the early covered calls on the dailies and sold out to May 8th for $8.30 premium that would take shares to net 285.42 net holding price which just happens to be close to my May 15th $285 Puts.

AMZN 5/8 2410C had $3.2MM go to them yesterday at $90 per. The OI is still there and I decided to take a chance here and got in at $24 per. Strictly working on an oversold play and way too much money there to appear to be DOA.
