Sweden has 10 times the deaths as the countries that surround it. Not sure it has been a rousing success case.

"At least 50 percent of our death toll is within elderly homes and we have a hard time understanding how a lockdown would stop the introduction of disease," Anders Tegnell, the chief state epidemiologist at Sweden's public health agency, told the BBC's Radio Four's Today program last week.
The decision to not issue a lockdown "worked in some aspects because our health system has been able to cope," he noted.
Quote:
Tegnell also claimed last week that up to 20 percent of residents in the Swedish capital, Stockholm, have been infected with the virus, noting "We believe that we have an immunity level, if I remember rightly, somewhere between 15-20 percent of the population in Stockholm," he told CNBC.
"This is not complete herd immunity but it will definitely affect the reproduction rate and slow down the spread (of a second wave)," he said.

Down day so far, but I'm expecting a push to do everything they can to get there.
Exactly...and I think this has been here since last winter (Nov or Dec). We have no idea how many people in Sweden actually have it or have gotten over it already. In all likelihood 10x more than the confirmed case number.IrishTxAggie said:Or investors are going to realize that this is being blown out of proportion as more antibody testing takes place. Not to clutter or derail here, but to add to what Irish said, the unemployment rate in Sweden actually went down in March. They've always had higher rates than the U.S., but the fact that it decreased vs our increase of 25% (4.4% March vs 3.5% Feb) is pretty significant. I don't know anything about their economy, but I wouldn't be remotely surprised if theirs hasn't felt the same impact as we have here and I also doubt their government has thrown an equivalent influx of cash to try and save it.Heisenberg01 said:

Ok, back to even already. But still a a few holdings showing red. Now I have to use my brain and make decisions. Hate that on a Friday.RoyalOak00 said:Username doesn't check out. Lol. Kidding. Yes, today looks to be rough.2percent said:

It means your username agrees or doesn't agree to what you posted. So, if the poster Poopy Pullup posted this morning that he looked at his portfolio and **** his pants when he saw how far down he was, somebody else would say, username checks out. Your username is 2percent so when you said you were down 4%, it meant that didn't check out with your username.2percent said:Primary question is what does "username checks out" mean? I am an old websider poster never saw that until recently over here.RoyalOak00 said:Username doesn't check out. Lol. Kidding. Yes, today looks to be rough.2percent said:

AMZN 5/8 2410C had $3.2MM go to them yesterday at $90 per. The OI is still there and I decided to take a chance here and got in at $24 per. Strictly working on an oversold play and way too much money there to appear to be DOA.
