I'd wait til we close the gap at SPY 230, I think this is a big rally that may get to the Model T point but then we'll head back down again to retestAggieFanatic09 said:
moved to cash about a week ago, time to rebalance and get back in?
or do we think the bottom has relatively been hit?
I'm concerned that 3.2MM unemployed is just the tip of the iceberg - a lot of companies aren't starting layoffs until this week and the coming weeks

I knew if I bought daily puts they'd get the deal hammered out!
I'm holding it as a hedge yes. I did just buy an additional 20% to trade on any trend pullback and lower average price but the bulls have a squeeze going so I don't care if I lose this if portfolio of trades rise 1/10th of 1% to kill that loss and its up well over that obviously.Pignorant said:
We still holding IWM? Mine was only a small hedge.

Article mentions $600 a week extra on top of state benefits for 4 months. For example, my wife would get the max $500 a week in Texas if she was laid off. That would jump to about $4,400 a month for 4 months under the plan. After taxes/401k/insurance at her salary, she brings home $4,200 a month.
So, she would technically be a wash for 4 months being employed vs unemployed, taking out $200 for being added on to my company insurance if I did the math right. I know her job is taking a physical and emotional toll on her. That's the tough part. Always better to have a job.
we didn't retest the bottom in 2008.$30,000 Millionaire said:
