If you have options writing covered call ability then you should be buying like crazy down here.

Markets generally bottom out overnight on futures and you'll get a rise at least above these levels even if it climbs and then sinks a little into open.

If you g set a runner upward then just buy a protective out on the cheap weekly expiring today. If it comes back close to entry you can make a decision to see if support levels premarket hold or decide to sell a covered call out a week or two, depending on how much you need to protect, into the money. So a $50 stock buy rises to $51+ by market open you can watch for further recovery or immediately sell a $50 covered call out to next Friday, giving you a gain or downside protection. Or buy the $50 expiring put for around $0.25 of your $1 gain, for no risk watching the show.

Futures are already turning back around some. When I checked at 5 this morning, S&P was down 55. Now it's ~35. I think we'll hear from Trump this morning and we'll get a lot of it back. My NFLX and AMZN for today is likely worthless though.

You might also consider selling next Friday expiring naked puts just at or below opening prices. You either make 100% premium if they rise or you have better entry price if they flounder around.

TSLA up $10 tells you macro economics is still the leader on this market.

"Lottos" are options that expire day of. Given today's events, it is a massive gamble and you can lose everything in a matter of minutes. Which you would've if you entered when I said this because it went from 1884 to 1887 and got rejected hard and fast at 1887 and is down to 1877 now.

Sold a AMZN credit spread - 1 1937.50 P +1 1,935 P expiring next Friday. Hoping for 1,900 and nothing standing in the way of 1,950 after that.

I just got a news flash that Trump is sending 3k marines to Iraq. Don't know if that's additional troops or a late print from 2 days ago. I'm on mobile and don't have time to verify it. The markets did sell off at the time of the release.

More troops to Iraq can hold it down.
