Depends if your trailing stops are set as limit or market sales. The former can get gapped and not execute. Market sales on options (particularly thinly traded ones) can result in a very bad fill.
Yeah, and I'm not 100% sure on how Schwab treats their trailing stops.Trying to figure that out now.
These are all on long stock positions, not options, so I'm not too worried about a huge bid/ask spread.
EDIT: Confirmed that Schwab treats them as market orders. They only trigger during normal trading hours though, so I'm still vulnerable to a gap down and a fill well below what the trailing stop was.
