Past range bound breakouts have been good for another couple of dollars. It seems to like ~15% breakouts before consolidation for a few days. Using the same logic, $22 wouldn't be surprising today or tomorrow.
Edit to add that it has to hold 19.75 now for the big breakout. Be careful!

FYI on msft. My son said they are about to release a Minecraft mobile game that ALL the kids are waiting on. Probably just a drop in the pan for them, but may bump them a little going forward. I bought some shares today and figured I'd write CC on them the next day or so. Was going to wait to see if it could get to 130 first, but for a teaching moment with my son I went ahead a bought them under 135.
Tomorrow looks like resumption of trend unless this drone shootdown dusts up into something more than accepted retaliation. I think you are correct and would use any push above to take advantage of the premium for a $45 covered call out 2 weeks. So a question on how I should treat MSFT tomorrow. If it gets to 142-144 was going to write CC's. Would you go out 2 weeks(aug 2 for $3+) or aug 16 for $4.5ish? Was thinking of going with aug 2. If it only gets to 140 would you pull the trigger on cc or wait and see if it finds resistance higher?
