Shorts going to test bulls with retrace to yesterday low. Remember anything above $280 still in the channel so intraday action has to see where we end versus begin. Still, I have an array of cheap SPY puts expiring today down to $280 as precaution. Had $288's, $284's and $280's. Closed out the $288's own shares against the $284's and would sell the $284's if we get below $281 allowing the $280's to be backstop.

Right after I posted that it went from 286 to 283

Doing it again on NET. Also I did add a few June 19th $95 JPM calls. Yup even them.

So to continue my stream of consciousness on how I trade SPY. I bought shares against the lower Puts. Early action allowed me to sell all but the $283 and $280 Puts. Willing to take the loss on those as SPY move up over $1 cleans those up. I also buy a $286 call equivalent to the shares bought anticipating a cup formation (again all this based on the 2 day red pattern meaning today will eventually be green.

We reached $286 so I sold the shares and the cheaper calls now become my upside ride while any capitulation down below $284 allows me to buy shares again with minimal downside risk against $283 and $280 puts.

BYND calls were easy money this morning.
