I'll be there with Wildcat Oil Tools. Stop by, we'll have a guy rolling cigars.
I should have put my post from Stocks thread here, but I discovered that this happened this morning. Had some cash show up in my trading account from the merger and was surprised by that because I hadn't checked in on it.redaszag99 said:

I always thought it was weird how Lawler is the CEO of BPX and president of BP America but not listed on their website as being part of their executive team.

The man had a chief of staff with a psychology degree and basically no experience, no business being on an executive leadership team, and was a dime piece. Everyone knew they were hooking up so no surprise he's just leaving to save face as I assume they're working to put a stop to these relationships and promoting executives taking advantage of their position.
Maybe they realized that Lawler is an idiot. The personal problems just give them easy cover.canadianAg said:
Lawler. And even if by some miracle they weren't hooking up, he absolutely brought in all his buddies and made them execs and played favorites.

There's always more to the story. I'm not going to pretend to know on this one.Cyp0111 said:
Think that may be only part of the story.
Seems weird to resign a high paying position out of sour grapes. I guess we will see if he ends up somewhere else relatively quickly.Comeby! said:
Lawler resigned 2 days ago, presumably since he was passed up. Kyle Koontz was the named BPX CEO, OU guy.
