Losses:
- Position: Carson Kelly (C), Janko (OF), Lowe (1B)
- Pitcher: Leclerc, Yates, Urena, Robertson, Heaney (SP)

Adds:
- Position: Higashioka (C), Burger (3B/1B), Pederson (DH)
-Pitcher: Luis Curvelo, Jacob Webb, Hoby Milner, Robert Garcia, Shawn Armstrong

Pederson hasn't gone "official" meaning... he isn't on the roster, yet.

Still more to come.
I think we've improved in areas and overall better lined up. The biggest improvement has to come from healthy players - Jung (46G), Seager (123G), Carter (45G), Heim (lower his 131G), Semien (lower his 159G)


I've been casually tracking the others in the division, and outside Houston losing Tucker and Bregman it doesn't seem like the others have improved much if any.

Where did Yates sign???

I think those are expected numbers from ESPN

I guess free agents are in his "losses"category and that got me.

If they aren't on the team... they are losses... until they sign with the Rangers.

Yates could sign. I didn't wanted to have a category of "pending signing decision."

That's pretty shocking, IMO.

This was a post I drafted, but was holding. I'm guessing with LAD signing Teoscar, the DBacks couldn't afford for SFG to get Burnes.

Most of the recent chatter regarding Burnes has centered on some combination of the Blue Jays, Giants, Red Sox and Orioles

San Francisco has had a standing offer on the table, though he notes that the Giants could elect to move on to other targets if there continues to be no resolution on Burnes' part.

I feel like having an open offer on the table is exactly the type of thing Boras loves. It is the base that allows him to say "beat this offer" without concern. If I'm the SFG... I close the offer and look elsewhere. The moment SFG pulls that offer and kicks the tires elsewhere, Boras blinks.

Glad he ended up in the NL. Time is closing and teams thought to be in on Burnes hopefully execute that backup plan and we can sign Yates, Martin, and finalize things.

SFG really needs another veteran SP. I was drafting this post to see how Gray might fit for them.

GAnderson DFA'ed for Joc Pederson, officially signed.

With DBacks signing Burnes, it puts more pressure to move Monty.

Not sure we want him, but for the right price... I'd be happy to have him as another option.

My guess is that he ends up in Toronto, SFG, or Boston. If the owner was spiteful... he'd trade him to Toronto where the Fed+State Taxes are 33+15%= 48%.

California isn't much better, but yeesh...

I really hope another team picks up Anderson or we don't bring him back. So many times last year, I was asking why is Bochy bringing this scrub out here and then he proceeded to give up 5 runs.

The Detroit game when he made his debut was a lot of fun. Hope he can figure it out somewhere we won't see him a lot.

I think the rest of the MLB has figured out Anderson, and he hasn't been able to make any adjustments. He was just an innings eater type guy last year, time to move on IMO.
