The Los Angeles Dodgers rallied from a 2-1 deficit to defeat the San Diego Padres 3-2 in the NLDS by outscoring the Padres 10-0 in the last two games combined. The Dodgers shoutout the Padres for 24 straight innings from the 3rd inning of game 3. As a result, the Dodgers reached the NLDS for the first time since 2021 and 7th time in 12 years.

Also, both New York teams are in the League championship series for the first time since 2000. The Dodgers will host the Mets in Game 1, and the Yankees will host the winner of ALDS Game 5 between the Detroit Tigers and Cleveland Guardians

24 straight scoreless innings. That has to be a record in a 5 game series.

This is going to end up Yankees-dodgers isn't it?

I'm pulling for the Tigers in this game but my mind is telling me that Cleveland probably has a better shot at beating the Damn Yankees.

Easy to second guess but if I were AJ I would have left Skubal in for the 7th.

This is where I am. I like the scrappiness of Detroit but I don't think they can take down the evil empire with 1 starter and a bullpen game the other 4 days.

I've been a Detroit Tigers fan since the days of my hero Frank Howard (formerly Texas Rangers/Washington Senators), Al Kaline, Mickey Lolich, etc……. I've seen them win 100 games and I've seen them lose 100 games. This was a fun run.

They might as well let Ohtani and Judge make a $50 million bet against each other .. just make it public so there no surprises when it gets out into the media

Don't know if anybody caught it, but in the brief pregame Dodgers versus Mets hype video they had Aaron Judge hitting a Home run for a split second.
