Anybody think Roberts gets canned if the Dodgers lose tonight?
I don't think I'd pick against either #6.Wabs said:
We could headed for a #1 vs #6 seed in both LCSs.
A 3 game wild card series will do that. The championship teams that have been the exceptions to the recent trend you mentioned stand out a little more now because of it.AgRyan04 said:
The MLB playoffs have definitely turned into a "who is hottest at the end of the season", rather than a "who was the best over the whole season"

Nope. The old way at least protected the the division winners and they did not have to sit for nearly a week before their first postseason game.Quote:
It's better than the one game series it used to be
Yeah, I'm sure MLB playoff expansion isn't over. They will eventually get to 16 teams like the NBA. The NFL taking 7 teams per conference is absurd as well. Only 1 team gets a bye?cone said:
i'm v much enjoying these playoffs
but i also believe there should be, at most, 1 wild card team in the division series
have the 5/6 play a one game playoff and the winner play the 4 seed in a three game playoff
but that's not good for TV so up your butt jobu
