A 3 game wild card series will do that. The championship teams that have been the exceptions to the recent trend you mentioned stand out a little more now because of it.

i'm v much enjoying these playoffs

but i also believe there should be, at most, 1 wild card team in the division series

have the 5/6 play a one game playoff and the winner play the 4 seed in a three game playoff

but that's not good for TV so up your butt jobu

Yeah, I'm sure MLB playoff expansion isn't over. They will eventually get to 16 teams like the NBA. The NFL taking 7 teams per conference is absurd as well. Only 1 team gets a bye?
