the Astros are definitely not out of the woods yet

Does Arizona have the tie breaker on Chicago? They're 2 up on Miami and Chicago as it sits
Yeah, need Urquidy ready for long relief that day. I would consider starting him over Brown, let Hunter come in for long relief where he can really give it everything knowing he isn't expected to go 6-7 innings.W said:

Does this seem right?
We win all 3:
- 2 seed if Tex loses 3+ of 4 vs M's
- 5 seed if Tex wins 2+ of 4 and BJ's lose 2+ of 4 Yanks / TB
- 6 seed otherwise
We win 2 of 3:
- 2 seed impossible. If Tex loses all 4. 3-way tie, M's would have best record vs the West (since h2h is a 3-way tie as well)
- 5 seed if BJ's lose 3+ of 4 and M's lose 1+ of 4
- 6 seed if M's lose 1+ of 4 and BJ's win 2+ of 4
- can't miss playoffs as Tex would miss playoffs if M's win all 4
win 1 of 3:
- 5 seed if BJ's lose all 4 and M's lose 2+ of 4
- 6 seed if M's lose 2+ of 4 and BJ's win 1+ of 4
- miss playoffs if BJ's win 1+ of 4 and M's win 3+ of 4
win 0 of 3:
- 5 seed impossible
- 6 seed if M's lose 3+ of 4
- miss playoffs if M's win 2+ of 4

2 wins vs Arizona and we are in. 3 way tie at 89 with Seattle
And Texas and the Rangers stay home. Seattle would win the division.
4 way tie at 89 and the blue jays stay home. We are 5 seed at tampa and rangers are 6 at Minnesota.
The rangers simply need 2 wins to grab the 2 seed with 91 wins. Astros just need 1 win in that case to eliminate Seattle.
Best case for Houston is probably Texas winning Th and Fri
And we beat arizona on Friday. Texas wins the division and Seattle is eliminated. We can set up the pitching for the Minnesota series starting Tuesday.
5 times we clinched the playoffs on the final day of the season. Unless the 2 seed is up for grabs clinching Friday is a good thing.

At this point I think it's best if we get the 6th and go on the road and play the Twins.
Back in 2022, Julio Rodriquez hit a home run off Hector Neris and celebrated all around the bases.

That might have left a bad taste in Neris's mouth.
Tonight, Neris told JRod to sit down.
Here are both videos. pic.twitter.com/irMnMDgFTe

For those wondering what did Neris said:
— Kory Kosky (@kory_kosky) September 28, 2023
"Batea, Batea, batea coño, va de ahí"
That's Domincan slam, difficult to translate but I'll try, is like...
"Go ahead and hit it, hit it, hit it mothefucker. Get out of here"
I think it's less of a grudge and more of a "I don't like that motherf***er and I can't wait to shove it up his ass when the time comes."Frok said:
He held on to a grudge for a year because of that?
I think Neris was probably more upset about something that happened the last couple nights.
