You know Diaz's wife is pulling her hair out...I remember her meeting Donkey (OK, Dusty) and telling him "play my husband more!"

If Diaz goes on in the next few years to become one of the best hitting catchers in the league we will look back at how criminally underused he was in his first year with us.

So Dusty wants the "best" defense out there? Why is Dubon in CF? Literally makes 0 sense.

Also, you think it might be important to give JV some ****ing run support in his first start back? That lineup is hideous. We went from solid to **** in less than 24 hours. Unreal.

Dusty is a freaking stubborn idiot and has 100% been solely responsible for at least 8 losses this year

There is a reason he didnt win anything prior to last year and it took an al time pitching staff and lineup for him to finally win

After seen what the lineup last night did, to put this one out today is flat out an eff you to fans

During the pre-game show on ATT Dusty said Dubon playing CF was his preference and that "I'm the manager, you know" (followed by belittling the reporter). JV's preference had nothing to do with it according to Dusty; it's all him. At least he's taking full responsibility.

We are probably at the end of the Dusty regime and his comments to media show the strains of it all. That said, the biggest reason I would like a change next season is so that this annual thread can change the subject. Having every third post about Dusty is really a drain.

I have a couple alibis:
A) wife doesn't want to do **** today so I can go as I please today. (Helps I've been up since 0600 knocking out the honey do list)
B) kids are 16,11,&4. I have a reasonable expectation they'll all be alive and house still standing if we go out for a couple of hours and relatively close
C) we only live 10 mins from my in-laws.

And people get upset that I call him Donkey.

I really hope at some point, perhaps the playoffs, he will go with the lineup of death. Problem is you got to MAKE the playoffs first.
