Is there any thought about him playing 1B in the future?

Is anyone looking to unload any tickets for the Mets or Mariners series coming up?
LF we want out there, or LF Dusty wants out there? Cause those seem to be 2 very different things.Farmer1906 said:
Right now Yordan is a 61/39 split DH/LF. I would think that is a solid #. If he plays 150 games a season that would be 92/58. I think that is a decent plan. If we ever find another LF we want out there, maybe even less.
Did they let him wash his hands the first time?Eso si, Que es said:

Drew Smith (reliever for Mets) ejected yesterday for sticky stuff. If suspended he will not be available for the series against us, and they can not replace him on the roster for 10 day ban. Bullpen might be overworked by the time they come to town next week.
Tough news for the Houston #Astros, who were without Jose Altuve for 2 months, still don’t have Michael Brantley, and now are without MVP candidate Yordan Alvarez for 4-6 weeks, targeting late July.

Pretty typical for an oblique injury. Especially for a power hitter. We really need Abreu to keep warming up.
To be fair, I don't think any of us expected LMJ back any time soon anywaysAg4life80 said:
Damn, seems like Astro fans need to be wearing protective cups for all the kicks in the nuts this season has produced, I'm afraid yet another looms this afternoon.
I think he could learn if he put in offseason work for a couple of years. If Berkman could do it, I think Yordan could.texasaggie2015 said:
He's just not a first baseman. Playing first base in the big leagues is much more difficult than most people believe. It's extremely tough to learn it from scratch while playing the highest level of baseball in the world. It's not a matter of him just not wanting to.
more like him being back ever…texasaggie2015 said:To be fair, I don't think any of us expected LMJ back any time soon anywaysAg4life80 said:

Agreed. But, it would be nice to get one pleasant surprise this year.
If Yordan would be all in at 1B, that would solve a number of issues. Apparently, not an option

I feel your frustration, but Dubon has been a pleasant surprise.

Dubon might end up taking Maldy's spot asteam MVP this yearDusty's favorite option at catcher.
You beat me to it Marvin...Dubon not only has been a pleasant surprise I'd say it's been an incredible surprise for a team that was without Altuve for a long stretch to start the season.Marvin said:Ag4life80 said:
