Opposing fans are always bitter about other teams signings. It's always "they overpaid". And now the price tag just went up for Correa, which they can't be happy about.

Apparently after watching the team promise to be aggressive in FA for years only to sign reclamation prospects every year we're supposed to be pissed when they start actually making moves.

Really think we are 2-3 years late on Kershaw. Would not be a bad miss in my opinion. But would not complain having an aging ace to help younger arms mature.

Saw an Evan Grant tweet stating that the $561 million the Rangers have spent this offseason (well, really the last 24 hours) is the most ever spent by a team in any offseason ever.

There's always been a timetable.

Pushing chips in the last few years while Astros will still at full roster strength would have been stupid.

Only question was whether we dabbled this year and went big next year or went big this year.
