I love it

I like trying to decipher what teams will do and hearing rumors on what's going on. One reason why I don't really like the NBA but will tune in when FA rolls around.

But I also find the front office operations fascinating on all aspects. I would really love to be a fly on Luhnow's wall this time of year.

Too me the most fun part is like what happened with Stroman. I love the reactions after a trade is complete. Stroman's freakout in the locker room, and then his subsequent tweet making it look like he's alright with the move. The follow up with everyone in the baseball world trying to figure out just what in the heck the Mets are thinking.

I love that aspect of the trade deadline.

I'm waiting for the freak outs with whoever the Dodgers, Yanks, Red Sox, and Astros pick up. That will be fun.

Call me crazy...but why doesn't Josh Rojas get as much love as Tucker? He has better significantly better numbers (.996 OPS vs. Tucker's .905; higher OBP, BA, and SLG as well). All I can think of is that he's a few years older than Tucker.

My first reaction was WTF Mets, thought you were selling not buying.

After 30 mins I realized, WTF Toronto, I thought you were selling, not giving it away. I just can't imagine why they gave Stroman away in the hottest SP market in a decade for a bag of balls and a lottery ticket. I guess they thought they were dealing to the other NY team, there really is no excuse for that trade 3 days before the deadline on Toronto's part.
