Just got back from this game...craziest one I've ever seen in person.

Rendon finished 6-6, 3 HR, 10 RBI, 5 R - He came into the game with 0 HR and 5 RBI on the year. The 8th inning looked like batting practice with Plawecki getting shelled (although to be fair, every Mets pitcher faced a similar fate today).

A few bench clearings yesterday.

Giants/Dodgers: Cueto went headhunting (maybe that's a bit sensationalist... but only maybe) at Yasmani Grandal, supposedly because Cueto thought Grandal was stealing signs while on second earlier in the game. If that's true, what a dumb thing to throw at a guy for.

Braves/Jays: Pillar struck out and jawed at Mott for throwing the pitch too quickly.

Braves/Jays #2: Bautista hit a solo homer in the 8th inning, and showboated with a big bat flip even though the Jays were down 4 runs. Announcers and players clown on him for starting the tussle and then going straight to the dugout: "I guess he didn't want to take another punch to the face"

Bautista is just a plain moron. Tried to stare down the pitcher after his homerun too and then thought better of saying anything to the first baseman when was jawed at rounding first.

That's not the first time one of them has thrown a fit. I think when Kela and Donaldson got into it in 2015 in the ALDS it was over Donaldson whining about an alleged quick pitch.

I'm glad we have Harper here with the Nats if not just for the entertainment value of the outrageous situations he creates or finds himself in.

I think one of those guys, or both, was going to end up in prison if that fight was allowed to play out further.
