If the rockets can't start hitting outside shots this will be over in 5.

I don't see us winning the series but I think if Anderson and Howard can start hitting open looks harden gives them, I think we can push it to 6 possibly 7.

I also think second chance shots are going to ultimately decide this series for San Antonio...Leonard and alridge we don't have answers for.

Should be fun and expect most games to be close but spurs are going to be a bit too much for the rockets

Well I don't care what you say because your reasoning has to do with some guy named Howard that isn't on our team

Ha how did Gordon auto correct to Howard?

Do the spurs have anybody to slow down Clyde Drexler if he gets going?

I'd love to see Clyde Drexler and Sean Elliott go head to head in a homer competition.

Spurs fans should be fascinated by this Rockets team because of the "what if" possibility. IMO Manu is the 2nd best Spur of all time, one of the 50 best NBA players ever, probably the best player on the title winning team of 2007, and the most criminally underrated player of my lifetime.

In Duncan's shadow and amidst the mid 2000s NBA malaise following the Malice in the Palace, Parker and Manu blended together as Duncan's foreign supporting cast. But with the advance metrics we have now, its apparent that Parker was a barely above average point guard and Manu was a first ballot HoFer.

The 2016-17 Rockets are what a team would look like if Manu was allowed to play the minutes, have the usage that Harden did, and to have the supporting cast that compliments him. I love the Rockets but I've always appreciated Manu. Should be a fun series.

GTFO. Manu wasn't better than Robinson. You maybe could argue Gervin because of defense, but you'd lose that argument.

Reason, logic and the English language seem to do a good enough job.

Set the NBA record for turnovers and then shatter that record a year later?

Manu is the 2nd best all time spur?

Robinson, gervin, duncan and Parker. Those names mean anything to you? Spurs fans are weird

Hold on. No spurs fan would make that claim. It was a Rockets fan.

Harden is just black Manu with a starting role. Anyone who says otherwise is kidding themselves and greatly undervaluing just how good he was in the mid 00's.

Ginobili is my favorite Spur of all time. Won't go down as the GOATSpur, but he may be the most beloved.

Peak Manu was insanely good. One time he dropped 30 on Memphis in the playoffs with a broken arm. Court vision, toughness, agility, clutch shooting, efficiency, and great defense. His body couldn't take the beating of his style of play for 40 minutes a night, but he was unguardable on one end and disruptive on the other.

He's probably the 4th or 5th best Spur, but the Spurs have had a lot of great players. You don't go to the playoffs 37 out of 41 seasons if you don't.

You're right, Manu has too much pride to ever play as lazy on defense as Harden.

Ask your inferior team when they have to start a series on the opponent's home court, ese.

It is so sad to watch Harden play defense (or watch him quit on the play) and know he is one being considered MVP

In our defense, we had to make room for all the hardware we've won since the Clinton administration: couple of Larrys for The Admiral, three more on top of that, couple of MVPs for some scrub named Duncan, three Finals MVPs for that same selfish dude, bronze medal for Timothy, gold medal for some crazy Argentine, another Finals MVP for a random Frenchman (just to be diplomatic, you understand), six Western Conference Championship trophies, and a Finals MVP and a couple of DPOYs for Pop's Kawhibot.

Just not enough room. Into the Alamo basement went tAdmiral's MVP hardware.

I'm not very good at trash talk, so I'll just say here's to a fun, competitive series with no injuries and Tim Duncan is better than Hakeem Olajuwon.

I'm curious after how many losses in this series will the Rockets fans blame the refs and say that league will never let them win because of some weird conspiracy theory?

At the most, 2. We don't anticipate losing more than that

Four, but they will also say they won a game in spite of the refs.
