Texas A&M continues to add key pieces to the 2027 class and build momentum on the recruiting front, and today, the Aggies dove back into the deep talent pools of Florida for a versatile standout.

Boca Raton (FL) West Boca Raton ATH Loia Valade‍ burst onto Texas A&M’s radar this spring and received his Aggie offer on May 1. At 5-foot-11 and 180 pounds, he brings a blend of speed, explosion and versatility that helps him to project at a number of positions across the secondary and even on offense.

After A&M offered, the Aggies quickly emerged as a program to watch in his recruitment with coach Bryant Gross-Armiento leading the efforts.

With his decision, he becomes the Aggies’ 17th commitment of the class, and he is the third commitment out of Florida.

Originally from Canada, Valade established himself as a multi-sport, multi-position talent at Chattanooga (TN) McCallie, where he was a standout on offense, defense, special teams and in the track program before he transferred to West Boca Raton (FL) this spring.

Valade chose the Aggies over fellow finalists Auburn, Florida and Miami, and he also received offers from the likes of Arkansas, Florida State, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisville, Vanderbilt and Virginia Tech over the course of his recruiting process.
