I think we have a decent shot against Houston or Memphis......as long as rondo doesn't Play. But I guess he will.

Seriously, we obviously won't be favored against anyone, but I think we can make a series out of all of them. I would think the Spurs should kill us, but I thought the same thing last year. I would expect a series against Houston or Memphis to go at least 6 games

I just didn't realize how far ahead the Spurs got over the Mavs. They've been on fire since the Mavs beat them. They were neck and neck for so long and out of nowhere...five games ahead.

Welp, after the Clippers beating the Grizzlies tonight, the standings are:
1. Golden State
2. Memphis
3. LAC
4. Portland
5. San Antonio
6. Houston
7. Dallas
8. New Orleans

San Antonio would easily sweep Portland I believe. Haven't been the same team since losing Matthews and injuries to two other stars. LAC vs Houston is a fairly even matchup. This would probably be a long series that could go either way. Dallas could pull the upset over Memphis but need to get hot from 3 soon.

Overall, the Spurs have by far the easiest matchup in the first round out of the Texas teams. Maybe even the western conference.

Then the Spurs would have by far the toughest 2nd round matchup in the WC.

I wouldn't be surprised to see McHale go with a Harden-Brewer-Ariza lineup (without a true PG) periodically this series. Harden match up with Rondo, with Brewer and Ariza alternating on Monta and Parsons. The matchups in this series I think will be very interesting
