It was a fun pride win. Houston wins on Tuesday, but glad the Mavs gave us something fun tonight.

Is the next game really tomorrow? It's what ESPN has listed.

Hell yeah. It changed it from 4 games to 5.

Game 3 was there for the taking as well. Game on Tuesday will be interesting, if Mavs take it some sphincter's tightening in Houston...visions of Tmac and yao.

I think most Houston fans thought a split in Dallas would be the most likely scenario. Sweep would've been nice but the good guys are in a great position to close it out at home.

Sweep certainly would have been nice, especially since the Spurs and Clips are each taking turns exchanging blows to the other. Getting this series wrapped up quickly will be good for the upcoming 2nd round series.

Last night sucked, but we were shooting 2-23 from 3PT at one point, and we still found ourselves within striking distance. If we shoot just 26% from 3, instead of a scorching 9%, we are leading that game. Shooting % and rebounding killed us. I don't see that happening again.

Honestly, I was hoping for a sweep too. Was hoping for a little rust to start setting in on the Rox.

That's actually a good point. Finishing in 5 gives us a little less time for rust to set in, while still giving us some rest. We just have to make sure we take care of business tomorrow

Barea is the perfect guy for this Mavs offense. We should've sucked in our pride and started him more this season.

seriously though, i think rox close it out in six no matter how much I want the mavs to win. clearly a more talented team with harden and dwight looking like orlando dwight. brewer being brewer and is a better player on offense than he was with the mavs in 2011.

mavs fighting with barrea as usual, but when you have charlie v, raymond felton and richard jefferson playing major minutes in the playoffs, winning one game is a miracle.

Section IX--Punching Fouls
a. Illegal contact called on a player for punching is a personal foul and a team foul. One free throw attempt shall be awarded, regardless of the number of previous fouls in the period. The ball shall be awarded to the offended team out-of-bounds on either side of the court at the free throw line extended whether the free throw is suc-cessful or unsuccessful.
b. Any player who throws a punch, whether it connects or not, has committed an unsportsmanlike act. He will be ejected immediately and suspended for a mini-mum of one game.
c. This rule applies whether play is in progress or the ball is dead.
d. In the case where one punching foul is followed by another, all aspects of the rule are applied in both cases, and the team last offended is awarded possession on the sideline at the free throw line extended in the frontcourt.

I don't see the league suspending Tyson for game 5. He is way too important to the Mavs for the NBA to do that.

I remember in '09 the league reviewed incidents involving Derek Fisher (when he bulldozed Scola) and Kobe (when he elbowed Artest in the throat). The NBA suspended Fish for the following game, but Kobe was clear to play. I see the same thing here. If it was somebody like Richard Jefferson, then yeah, the league may suspend him. But I don't see that happening here
