Unfortunately, I've seen these blown 4th quarter leads way too many times.

It will be interesting to see how long Gasol is out.

I didn't get to watch the game last night, but saw the scores and saw we blew a big lead.

What happened with Gasol that he didn't suit out? Was Hollins just giving him a night off or something to heal some minor dings?

Also for the game last night, Zach didn't start because he was late for the shoot around.

DA played well in his minutes. Ed Davis didn't.

This team is a first round out.

Yes, that is where I would put my money.

I think it will end Den 3rd seed, LAC and Mem tied at 4, with LAC getting the tie breaker.

I think with Marc getting injured, they will shift focus from the fight for the 3 seed to getting people healthy.

I just don't think they score enough, and I'm pretty cynical on the calls that Zach doesn't get (especially after seeing the Collison mug job), and I don't see the NBA assigning officials that would hurt the Clips chances of advancing.

But maybe that is just a delayed overreaction to the Hornets loss, especially since they almost blew the Celtics game in the 4th.


Or maybe it is the hangover effects I still carry from last year's Game 1 blown lead, that adds to my hangovers from Frank Reich coming back on the Oilers, and the countless comebacks of the Sherman era.

Although, I also know they can beat anyone on any night because they play such good defense.

I am a little more optimistic about it than I was immediately following the Rudy trade. I was really high on the Grizzlies 2 years ago whenever they beat the Spurs. Not as much last year, but we will see how it goes again this year.

Seems like Denver or LAC would be a bad first round draw. We've not done that great against either of them this season, maybe just bad matchups.

So far about halfway through the 3rd Q against a severely depleted Wizards team and the Grizz look like hammered ****...

Ugh

This is unwatchable. The Grizzlies have taken a page out of the Ags playbook and have missed probably 7 or 8 shots right at the rim. They aren't protecting the defensive glass and are playing "ole" style defense on Wall. And its bad Tony Allen tonight fouling instead of defending, making dumb plays, missing layups, etc.

The Grizz are without Gasol, but the Wizards are without Nene, Arriza, Beal, Price, and a couple other key players. The Wizards have 2 guards available to them tonight and the Grizz let Wall dominate them.

Grizzlies will finish this game with the Wizards shooting over 40 FTs and the Wizards are 25th in the league in getting to the line. Grizz have defended by fouling tonight.

Bad loss. Grizz are giving up a lot of points lately and their defense is not playing well. Allowed Wall to go off for 47 points tonight.

all things considered with who all the wizards had out tonight, this may be one of the worst losses of the year.

4th road loss in a row, the last two to sub .500 teams and showed a real lack of effort and listlessness.

Just finished watching.

Grizzlies looked like they hung out at the Lincoln memorial and drank Colt 45s all night. Give up 40 points in the lane and 30 points at the free throw line.

Refs didn't help them out at all. 24 FTs for Wall, 44 for Wizards, 22 FTs for Grizzlies.

The Grizzlies are the anti Nuggets right now. Might as well settle into the 5th seed right now and get healthy for the playoffs.

Z-bo played like dog**** last night. With Gasol out, he needs to step it up and he didn't at all.

I think it shows the value of Gasol, especially defensively.

ZBo is playing out of position at those times because of the trades of Speights and Hamad, and basically playing with power forwards.


I wonder if ZBo has other issues going on. I also think with Rudy gone, the spotlight shines brighter on Zach now, and he's probably feeling the pressure to repeat the 2011 playoffs, and that ain't happening.

Knicks can't miss a shot tonight.

Made a decent comeback, but would kill their own run with a stupid turnover or miss a wide open shot.

The Knicks are biggest bunch of whiners in the league.

This team is not great right now. Maybe all the teams are getting worn down right now.

Team really isn't playing well right now. Defensively, they've looked bad the last couple of weeks with several opponents now getting over the century mark.

Rumor is there is a rift between ZBo and Hollins.
