But that's Dortmund.
no idea about a player comparison.. are they both CAMs? I was just referring to fans pre-anointing him the next Pele or Messi at 14 or 15 years old when the chances his development gets sidetracked or he becomes a journeyman after a few loans by Man City are probably much higher.Rudyjax said:That's easy.oh no said:

Freddy was a full grown man at 14. This kid is not.
And it's really a very lazy comparison.
I know where you're coming from but what happened to Freddy has nothing to do with the trajectory of Cavan.oh no said:no idea about a player comparison.. are they both CAMs? Excited to see how he does after he goes over there. He's clearly very very technically skilled, tactically aware, athletic. He's got all the makeup to deserve to the contract and some hype. He'll have to stay healthy, fall into situations where's getting plenty of minutes to continue his development, and have the mental fortitude to keep it up through tough situations from injuries, to having to earn minutes, to even potential language barriers and culture shock depending on what City does with him.

The rumor I saw was that he wanted to play the Olympics for the USMNT and then possibly switch to Bosnia. We said no to that and he bailed.TRM said:Rumors flying Esmir Bajraktarevic will play for Bosnia. Not good for the U.S soccer system. He has a lot of potential
