That's been an NCAA rule since The U. Can't run up into the tunnel like that. FWIW.
If State Troopers are going to start enforcing NCAA rules, I would rather they start calling our opponents for holding.

I didnt see a single thing bad. They ran into the tunnel and aren't permitted. Don't push it because you think you're beyond the law as an athlete
DPS just "relieved" him of duties for optics. Nothing's going to happen to him, just can't have the perception of a cop seeming aggressive.

It looked like three people walking with two in one direction and the other in a different Direction
The two not paying attention the other going right between them and like none of them wanted to give into the other and move out of the way so they bumped into each other
Happens all the time amongst everybody I don't think it had anything to do with him being a cop or with them being athletes
I think it was just two guys walking in one direction didn't wanna move and one guy walking right between them and didn't want to move and they just kind of like push each other machismo style
Again that happens all the time
It's wrong for people to always assume and make such big thing out of everything reading into stuff by putting in your own personal beliefs into situation with the personal inference in the intent
Except that's not what happened at all.
The cop went into the tunnel to confront the players, this is evident as he turns around and immediately goes back to the sideline.
And #27 for South Carolina did move out of the way and the cop still made contact with him.
Don't try and suggest it was like a crowded area and some people just happened to bump into wash other .
It's very obvious it was 100% Intentional on the state troopers part .

They are lucky to be alive.

The referee squad didn't call a penalty, so it must've not been a huge deal.
Guess the trooper felt like he needed to flex.

It is really sad to realize how many people in that profession just have massive insecurities.
Mall cops? Yep.
Troopers? Nope. You dont give an inch.

Adults….telling other adults….who they voted for….in order to validate their opinion…..regarding a cop's stupid overreaction to football player bumping into him.
Never change Texags.

Trump voter sick of over zealous police. F that guy. Instigated and got caught on tv. Lot of people deal with these aholes and just have to deal.
Generalization much?
Your entire paragraph presumes so much as shows your bias

I call absolute BS on him confronting them for going down that tunnel. He walked right past them then turned around to yell at them. He should have been yelling at them and pointing at them to get the **** out

I full gas don't get Hawg's take. I usually enjoy her post.
But a grown man, professional authority throwing elbows and jawing at student athletes is absolutely not cool.
Making it political is wild. I guess I'm a Dem now? Lol. Senility is a hell of a thing.
