Coaching staff signaled by getting Zeno that they are fine with current QB stable with current and incoming Fish players. Staff wanted a serviceable back-up that was experienced and mature to fill a one year gap "just in case" as they continue to develop Reed and the other young QBs.

The Miss St. QB is fishing for NIL. We were never going to chase after him and risk disrupting the QB room. Plus any portal NIL $ needs to be put into top shelf WRs, Tackles, & DEs.

He was a true freshman on a crappy team. He'd be awesome with the supporting cast he would have here. Just don't understand why pass on even trying to get him. I guess we are married to Reed.

Our WR talent is significantly better than last year and everyone should be happy eith that. Grabbing a proven WR would make the portal an rlite class.

It certainly is curious how we're getting WRs to think "Yeah, I gotta play at Texas A&M," given our recent history (Jimbo years till now).

Glad we are able to do that though, I thought we'd be in a really tough situation for recruiting WRs (from portal and HS) if we didn't change the narrative this year.

I don't think we really did change the WR narrative this year, but Elko & Co. are overcoming that. Love to see it

As of right now Craver is down to 4 schools which are us, bama, LSU, and florida state. KC is down to 6 schools and we are one of them luckily. Anderson still has no final schools.

Pate was saying we've had a huge visitors list on portal players. Didn't have much word on how many or who we'd make moves on. He didn't have the Micah Hudson info at that point when he made the video last night.

I trust Elko to be able to land the ones we want after what he did shoring up recruiting after the Jimbo fire.
