I wish he stayed. I can't believe he wouldn't have been a rotational NT for us. Oh, well...

CB2's play and play a lot. I doubt any of the two deep at CB will be transferring anytime soon. Now if you fall beyond the 2 deep sure.ahpetty33 said:
If we land Davis, it is probably him and Lee starting. May be tough to hang on to Dez Ricks and the Georgia kid that just transferred in after spring ball Such is life in the transfer portal

Good news on Klare is that he made his last visit to Louisville yesterday, so a decision should come very soon. Bad news is that he made it to the Louisville visit, because they were always considered the front runner with Brohm having recruited him and the proximity to home. Crossing my fingers here because I heard we impressed him quite a bit on his trip, but Louisville just makes so much sense for him.

Still need help with several positions, but EDGE is the most urgent IMO.

Looch and brauny have both said today 4 defensive lineman total probably.
Looch even said up to 5, but that 4 is the likely number.
Some big names are heading to Aggieland starting tomorrow, including a key wide receiver: https://t.co/dgIx1VNaey

Including the incoming fish, we have about 79 slated to be on scholarship right now. Sec rule is still 85
We only have room for 6 more plus whatever other attrition we have. Let's call it about 8-9 for a total of 13-14 total transfers.
Last year at this time, we had 5 commitments. We ended up with 25 transfer players. In a perfect world, we'd have about 8 committed, but it's no where close to the end of the world. I'm a little concerned/interested to see how DL finishes up, but still cautiously optimistic. Dl will really tell the story on how portal recruiting went. Too early to judge

Kiffen is in it to win it now at all costs ... he'll have prob the top signing transfer class when it's all said and done (LSU chasing the same algorithm).
Think we are in convos, but either we don't pay as much or some aren't buying the strategy/direction (or we decide not the 'right character' fits and feedback from current teammates).
We are definitely missing on top edges (only Purdue kid still in play) as we are moving down the list or 'waiting' to see if someone else hits the portal window off a CFP based team.
Personally want to see 2 DTs for depth there, but the upper echelon didn't even put us on their radar per many sites.
looking at our list of transfer outs, he was the only one I was really hoping to come back. I think he would of played alot for us next year.Dex_Mick_Bear said:

We can fill in the pass catching TE and WR with Robinson. So we will have extra space to go boost that defense
Assuming he would be healthy, he's been injured on and off constantly....it's the only reason he wasn't playing more to start with.antman8504 said:looking at our list of transfer outs, he was the only one I was really hoping to come back.
