The media loves a champion. I've heard more than one talking head admit this. A blue blood playing lights out makes their jobs easier and more fun.

The Alabama wide receiver, who was wide open on the TD pass, screwed up and scored the TD. He should have taken a knee at the 3 yard line where he caught the ball to kill the clock. Now, South Caorlina has 1:54 to try to score a TD with a 2-point conversion to tie the game.
