This was a close game from start to finish that ended with Minnesota Kicker Dragan Kesich missing a 47-yard game-winning field goal. After Minnesota led North Carolina 14-7 at halftime, North Carolina outscored Minnesota 12-3 in the 2nd half to defeat Minnesota 19-17. As a result, North Carolina snapped a 3-game losing streak to start the season 1-0 and beat Minnestoa for the 2nd year in a row.
The media this morning is acting like CU just won the national championship. Already calling Sanders and Hunter the best. I will admit, they are tremendous players and I am a fan of Hunter.
