wtf… announcers saying crown of the helmet not involved.

That's called gaslighting. I literally watched the mizzou player attack with the crown of his helmet. And then they tell me he didn't.


I think he might have inadvertently first made contact at upper shoulder pads, while launching, that got in the way of him smashing the crown of his helmet into the guys facemask


This was 100% targeting wtf is going on


How it wasn't called instantly or called for review during the injury blew my mind. Only one replay seemed equally suspicious, plus announcers automatically dismissing any talk of targeting. One of the most bizarre and somewhat unsettling plays/officiating/announcing I've seen/heard in a while

I flipped from ABC to CW to tune into the Utah State at Washington State game with 14:18 left in the 2nd quarter. I will go to bed in the middle of the 3rd quarter because I will go to bed earlier than I usually do on Saturday evenings. I have to wake up at 8:20 AM to eat breakfast before I go to my church meeting hall at 9:00 AM to help with cleanup before the meeting starts at 10:00 AM. I am in a group that cleans the meeting hall on every 2nd Sunday of each month.

It was clear, there was some basic contact right at the start. Weakest hold I've seen since he didn't even get any grab on him

Weak call. I saw what you did but usually there's an iso camera on the receiver that shows it clearly. All they showed was the wide full field angle. Looked like a very questionable call to me

They definitely didn't have good cameras on the game because that was how it was for all of the questionable catches for the whole game.

I do not understand it unless it's deliberate. ALL high quality cameras are so much better than even a decade ago but we get same ****ty views with ****ty cameras about half the time

Eta: you'll see people posting vids from their cell phone camera with zero video or photography training that looks so much better after the fact

Ohio State down 7-0 to NW early in the 2nd. Obviously still a long shot for them to lose, but if they do that could open the door for 5 SEC teams to make the playoff.
