Yep. In all likelihood they will end the year having played just two ranked teams (one of which won't be ranked at the end of the year), and they lost to one of them at home.

If the committee puts them in over a 2 loss team with a substantially tougher schedule, you'll know it's either a popularity contest or it's just being done for tv ratings money.
