10-year class reunion. RC came and spoke to us and we told him we were wanting another 10 points to make it 83-0, Class of '73 was having their 20th so they were ecstatic about it.

Mike Ashly LB 1983 to 1984. He does show up on the roster but I am certain he was there in 84. He may have been injured.

He was caught no the back of my motorcycle and Coach Sherrell Rolls up. The tinted windows roll down and you hear Jackie say……we will discuss this Monday morning. Jackie rolled the window up and drove off.

Poor Mike shouldn't have been on my motorcycle that Sunday and was punished for it.

Bull Trahan went straight to Cy-Fair, was student teaching while I was there. We had a seniors vs. the coach's basketball game, he told me he was gonna put me in the wall and did. He became the head football coach eventually. He and my dad were drinking buds, when my dad was on life support, he and Javier Vela (also former Ag player) showed up at the hospital. He's as good as the day is long. Times were different back then, drinking age 18, not that unusual to be out drinking with a coach or a teacher, offseason of course with coach's...Elmo was at one such drinking session...Long time ago.

I'll throw out Bucky Sams. I've said it before, during one spring game, Bucky's younger brother and me and my brother were playing a tackle game at half, on Kyle. Again, much different times.
