What ever happened to:

Harry Johnson #21 who scored on a beautiful sweep against Auburn in the 86 Cotton Bowl?

A receiver named Dante Hawkins, #1? In the late 80s / early 90s. Head and shoulders more talented than our other receivers but I think he got injured and then had issues with the law.

#29, who scored the last TD in our 73-0 win over Mizzou in 1993. Looked like he had just moved over from intramurals. My buddy and I were at the game and we couldn't find a trace of him in the game program.

Note: This particular play begins at 4:55 of the below video. See if you can keep from laughing as this dude carries the ball with two hands in front of his belly. Of course, he has one D-1 touchdown, I have zero.

6'8" MOUNTAIN. Was biggest guy I'd ever seen in real life. Was a senior when I was a freshman in high school at Robert E Lee in Baytown. I know he was a teacher back at his old high school for a bit in the 90's but not sure where he is now. They would get him to sit in the classroom with all the "problem" kids as he was such an intimidating presence.

Nicest dude you'd ever want to meet though.

Cody Scates. I remember one game against KSU when the defender tried to block his punt and might have gotten called for roughing the kicker if it wasn't for the fact that Cody managed to grab him and throw him to the ground.
