Projecting 10+ wins right bow is pretty bold. With 2 losses under our belt, you're predicting we either beat LSU, an unknown bowl opponent, or both in addition to the next 3 opponents we should be favored against.

There's obviously some chance we win 11 games, but it's slim at best. Ten wins is not too improbable, but hardly certain. Nine wins would be disappointing but not shocking. Eight is probably as likely as 11.
If we lose to anyone besides LSU from here on out I might jump on your little bandwagon. However, you truly have BAS if you think 8 is as likely as 11. So you are saying it's more likely we lose to all three, LSU, Barn, and unknown bowl opponent, as it is that we beat LSU (and the rest, all of which we should be heavy favorites in)?

If I knew you in person I would definitely be betting you on that.
So you want to bet even money, Ags win 11 or more games you win, Ags win 9 or fewer games I win, Ags win 10 games it's a draw? Say, $200?
That's not what you originally said (it's in bold, above), and you crawfishing on your original statement now is all the admittance I need that it was a ridiculous one.

I know what I said. I'm not interested in a 50-50 bet, we might as well flip a coin for the $200. I want what I feel to be an advantage. You stated very definitely we would win 10+, so it sounds like you feel you should have an advantage given my proposed terms.

Feel free to counter on terms.

Put up or shuttup.

My terms were stated in the original post. I would gladly bet you any amount of money that you want that we will win 11 games versus your comically stupid 8.

We both know you aren't actually stupid enough to think that, so you won't make that bet.

Well, this thread turned stupid as hell real quick... We need new "information" from Rojo. Either that, or these two queer baits need to settle their bet in a truck stop bathroom somewhere and get it over with.

Some, who have been silent too long, have questioned whether or not Texas A&M needs a new direction on the offensive side of the ball. Here is what is being told to me by my friends in low places:

The reason such a move is being forwarded is because of the direction A&M's offense has taken over the past two years: less yardage, less scoring, less plays, less excitement, less adjustments, less everything except sacks, turnovers, and bad play calling. The A&M offense enters the season with a playbook. The playbook never changes. No adjustments to take advantage of an opponents weaknesses, no adjustments to take advantage of A&M's receiving corps. Third and 17 and handing off up the middle on a play that has averaged a loss the previous four times? Given the position of our linemen's feet -- passing this time?

Our opponents have "the book" on the offense midway through the season and shut us down. We suffer a complete offensive melt down and score 0 or 3 points in critical games. Spav's solution? Switch QBs and adjust the offense to the new QB, thus removing the predictability from the offense that was in the books, and resuming a decent scoring capability. Happened in 2014. Happened in 2015.

Now, we may not be expected by some to beat Alabama, LSU, and/or Ole Miss every year - but scoring 0 or 3 points is NOT expected and no one who has just contributed to the $700 million investments in the football program is sitting idle to see it happen for 3 years in a row. Neither are Blue Chip prospects. One collapse happens. Two is a pattern. Three is a program. So, a substantive change must be made to move forward and ensure that next year our offense fires on all cylinders and provides the points necessary to win the SEC.

$700 million is a game changer. Another Fran era simply is not going to be tolerated from anyone watching the games from the comfort of their leather chairs in their suites. Too many people with too much commitment to the program.

So, there will be a change, and it will be HUGE.

Looking at the situation objectively, one can ascertain that a change not only definitely needs to be made, it HAS to be changed. Sumlin, for whatever reason, likes the promise that Spavital shows. Whether that be from recruiting or his opinions that he gives during meetings during the week.

So, now Aggie fans have this mindset that Spav needs to be relieved of all his duties or at the bare minimum; demoted. Sumlin is NOT going to fire Spav. He probably won't even publicly demote him. I'm thinking Sumlin brings in Holgersen (when and if he is let go from WVU) to "mentor" Spav, and to become "co-offensive" coordinator with Spav.

That's the most educated guess that one can simply come up with and really the only reasonable scenario that is plausible at this time.

If this is true, how is it not Sumlin's direct responsibility? He's an offensive coach - how could he have ceded so much authority to Spav and let this happen? Seems he would intervene directly to make sure the playbook was expanded / adjusted when needed.

Don't get me wrong. I think Sumlin is a fantastic coach. That's why I have a hard timetime believing he would just watch this happen.

You can "strive" for what ever the **** you want to, chief. Your "striving" isn't going to change a damn thing.

Spav is our OC. Barring a complete collapse, he's not going anywhere.

Now, you can root for the team and be happy after wins, or you can be miserable ****ty zoo posters who act like the world is ending when we are well on our way to a 10+ win season, something we've only accomplished a few times in the last 20 years.. It's completely up to you, although, I strongly recommend the former, as the latter is pretty insufferable. Some people like being miserable ass holes, though. Different strokes I guess.
You can take your participation trophy attitude and shove it.

He gives players and staff too much leeway when it comes to turning things around sometimes.
