The same source cited Gee's close personal relationship with Tressel and the possibility of appearing before the NCAA infraction committee to have the penalties reduced or nullified as reasons why Tressel would be a viable candidate.

It has to be Spurrier, doesn't it? Holgerson is a head coach and wouldn't be negotiating with any other school during the middle of a season. Joe Lombardi has a HUGE name and has time on his hands, but you can't get his name out of the first post. Mangino? I just don't think that's the HUGE Rojo is talking about. Stitt, again, he's a head coach. Tony Franklin? that's a possibility, but Spurrier is the one guy that's out there and looking for something else to do. He could "consult", leaving room on the staff for Spav. Spav would probably love to have Spurrier as a mentor. Who wouldn't?

Now, you can root for the team and be happy after wins, or you can be miserable ****ty zoo posters who act like the world is ending when we are well on our way to a 10+ win season, something we've only accomplished a few times in the last 20 years.. It's completely up to you, although, I strongly recommend the former, as the latter is pretty insufferable. Some people like being miserable ass holes, though. Different strokes I guess.

How the hell do you know whether Spav will be here next season or not; regardless of the outcome of our season?

Projecting 10+ wins right bow is pretty bold. With 2 losses under our belt, you're predicting we either beat LSU, an unknown bowl opponent, or both in addition to the next 3 opponents we should be favored against.
There's obviously some chance we win 11 games, but it's slim at best. Ten wins is not too improbable, but hardly certain. Nine wins would be disappointing but not shocking. Eight is probably as likely as 11.
