Let us know how golf goes today, Rojo.

We don't need a new OC. The O looked awesome yesterday!

From colleg president to temporarily suspended coach. Crazy situation.
But that could work great for wvu

Cant be serious
quote:He's nearly 70 years old. Hawaii is considering shutting their football program down any way. Just too expensive to travel to games and back. Little to no fan support. (It's freakin' Hawaii, beach time versus football?? Beach time wins.)
I saw Norm Chow's name come up last week when everyone was calling for Spav's head on a spike.
He got the boot today...
Don't know about the team he coached. Did he not have much to work with, or was it his scheme?
quote:
Too much "if" in that statement.
This scenario has Spav staying as QB coach.
Who gets fired so that this OC can come and we keep Spav?

BTW, how did you guys like that game up in Iowa last night? Apparently it only takes 1 point to beat the sips these days......now, that's some strong football.
quote:And which other team?? Current coach, then?? Non play-off team, obviously as their post season play would continue.
The new OC candidate is very excited about the possibility of guiding the A&M offense. They have always kept an eye on Texas A&M. Both sides are moving forward and there is no reason that anyone can see that an announcement will not be made once the Aggies and completed their last game of this season.

Is stitts a hc at Montana? If so, he isn't taking a demotion to come here.
quote:He makes less than $200,000 as HC in the Big Sky Conference. Think we might be able to top that.

Muschamp was HC @ Florida and took a DC job at Auburn.
HC @ Montana to OC @ TAMU is arguably not a demotion.

Indiana plays IOWA this Sat....

Yeah, kind of weird he added that last part. Not that Texas played Iowa St, but just stating it was in Iowa. Makes you think Kevin Wilson.
Every time I think of a name, I run it through the first post to try to see if it explains it and it never does.

Sorry, no golf. Just too much rain. Oh well, there is always this weekend.
But, great breakfast and great walk around campus.
So, here is the scoop: Every decision maker understands that there needs to be a change in leadership on the offensive side. But, Spavital is seen as a coach who can contribute to the effort in another capacity.

It is, and always has been, a great day to be an Aggie.
And, it is going to be much better to be an Aggie football fan once the "dream team" has its final member. Sumlin, Chavis, and [Touchdown!]. What a team. Seriously, if Sumlin and the AD pull this off -- give them both a raise, add some more statues around Kyle Field when it is all over.
