I don't think we should be talking about this.

I started off wearing mine on the right hand, but had to switch to the left after gaining some weight (it fit better). Just before getting married I had it re-sized to fit the right hand and have worn it that way ever since.

I just hope whatever organization is not the one calling the shots regarding our football team. If they are, I question their collective IQ and would suggest we transfer them over to be the secret organization of Texas, Tech...hell even Baylor now, to even things up.

I am class of '95, but did got my ring until my wife (God bless her) surprised me with a trip to College Station for Ring Day '08. She had secretly purchased my ring and arranged for our trip to Aggieland. I did not know about the surprise ring until that Thursday night when she gave me the receipt I would need for the ring draw the next day (again, God bless her). Anyway, in surprising me with the ring she used the ring size of my wedding band, which turns out to be too small for my right hand. With her blessing (did I say God bless her?) she told me to wear my Aggie ring on the left hand in place of the wedding band until we can get it resized.

I had never heard about the secret society, but that would explain all the awkward secret handshakes.

There was a thread (a few years ago) where someone posted a bunch of B&W photos from the Aggieland (or Longhorn) yearbook of the "Stickers/Stikas/etc." organization. It was pretty cool stuff.

Does anyone still have those?

This could very well be true, but is there anything online that shows (for a fact) that we have a page from a Gutenburg Bible?

Maybe I should just Google it....but if someone finds a link, that would be awesome!

I did find this...

The 1617 edition of Don Quixote at Texas A&M University is the only complete copy housed in any academic institution in the United States, making it rarer than the Gutenberg Bible.

I have mine hooked to my nipple ring so it can be real close to my heart. Real, real close.

The Stikkas are kind of like Skull and Bones or Free Masons. Only instead of placing members in powerful positions in Congress and other government agencies they are the silent hand that controls VFWs and bingo parlors throughout the south. Pretty scary stuff.

I too wear my Aggie ring and my wedding ring on my left hand. I do this mainly because being right handed it was getting beat up pretty bad.

If you were a real Aggie you would have it melted down and wedged into your aorta via some sort of angioplasty procedure. Wuss.

When I'm at home by myself, I tie mine with a string dangling from my member

The Univ of Texas has a secrety society called "The Eyes" and you can only be invited into the group. They watch prospects throughout the first 3 years and invite them before their senior year into the society. True story....so i bet it's also true at A&M...and most universities around the nation.

I have been told by several people that wearing the Aggie Ring on the left hand was the norm until women were admitted to A&M. Once women were admitted, the number of married people began to increase on campus, and the Rings eventually shifted to the right hand due to wedding rings being much more common.

I personally wear mine on my left hand along with my grandfather's 9mm wedding band.

Same here music--I've had rings on my left hand for quite some time. The right hand isn't comfortable with it on, so it goes over.

Folks who are right handed and do a lot of hand shaking often wear their rings on their left hands. I learned to do this the hard way. Now my ring is a lot smoother and it doesn't tear up my other fingers as badly.

Look, I've been out about 45 years. No one I have ever known wore their ring on anything but the left hand.

But, if someone wanted to wear it on their right hand, I would not be bothered by it.

There is, however, a secret society but I cannot talk about it.

If there is a secret society which is composed of soley Corp Cadets, then I do not in any way want a part of it.

The top of mine opens to reveal a signet face. When I press it into the birthmark on my rear, a signal is sent out that tells the Wonder Twins to activate. I also have a hidden cyanide capsule in my ring; however, when my enemies get too close, I have yet to find an effective way to get them to all share the capsule.
